Abstract

The spiritual masnavi of Maulana Jalaluddin Balkhi is one of the best works of mystical literature and has attracted a lot of attention at the global level. Despite the fact that it has a mystical and didactic aspect, Masnavi Manavi is under the influence of the unconscious and the influx of intuitive and passionate associations among long and fictional poems. This exceptional experience has turned Masnavi into a repository of lyrical poems. The purpose of this research is to analyze the lyrical characteristics of Masnavi. This research is of a library type, which was carried out in a descriptive-analytical way to investigate the lyrical characteristics of Masnavi. With the conducted investigations, it was concluded that there are several reasons for the direction of Masnavi from an educational work to a lyrical literature. But the most important role in the revival of Masnavi poetry into a lyrical work is the existence of romantic-mystical poems with the presence of Shams and Hosamuddin Chalabi and of course the ideal of a perfect human being. Based on the idea of the perfect human being, Rumi believes that humans tend to move upwards to realize their potential.
